About
Marjorie Bostwick is an Exit Strategist. As an Exit Strategist she works with single mothers to ”bounce-back” quickly from a crisis or traumatic experience and help them transition towards their vision and destiny.
Marjorie is a woman committed to the the success of other single mothers. She is gifted in the area of personal & spiritual growth, and has had a love for entrepreneurship. She loves showing single mothers how to get pass themselves, and their past experiences and current circumstances by helping them connect to their vision and create a life that serves their ultimate purpose.
Entrepreneurship has been in Marjorie’s blood for over 20 yrs. She draws from her own personal adversities. Marjorie was a single mother for 10 yrs and her dream was to have her own business. But without the the guidance and mentoring she could not make it a reality. So she got married and decided that maybe all God wanted for her was to be a stay-at-home mom. Although Marjorie cherished her role in the home, within several years of marriage her vision came back with a vengence. She knew there was more for her in life. After 7 yrs of marriage, Marjorie found herself, again a single mother, starting over with nothing. Her journey through that transition prompted her to write, “Who The Hell Do You Think You Are?” scheduled for release 2012.
Marjorie was left briefly homeless and penniless with her oldest daughter. She has had to rebuild her life and her business from scratch with literally nothing. Although she had seen God show up in the midst of her crisis time and again, she was not sure what the future held for her. And what she discovered that as long as she had the vision he had given her, along with her gifts and talents, there was nothing she could not do. So, she wrote her book, and started reconnecting with former clients, networking and doing the necessary work. She began working with her coach again and created Becoming the Woman God Created You to Be Workshop and Group Coaching Program, which she facilitates locally with women in transition or crisis.
Her ultimate goal is to take her facebook FanPage Single Mom Revolution to be established as a non-profit, so that she can give low-income single mothers the skills and tools to start their own business.
Marjorie believes that your visions and dreams are from God and we have an obligation to bring them to pass. She also believes that no matter what you have gone through or what someone has done do you, they could try to kill your spirit, but they can not kill your dream, unless you let them.
Over the years Marjorie has been a Children’s Leader with Bible Study Fellowship, she has been awarded the Martin Luther King Service Award for her mentoring work with young girls through the AKA Chi Delta Omega Chapter. She has served as a Youth Leader at her previous church, and brought women together in her community to network and support one another. She empowers and inspires single mothers through her weekly Blog Talk Radio Show https://blogtalkradio.com/singlemomsrevolution and her Facebook Fanpage: https://facebook.com/singlemomsalliance.
